The path that led you here...

water rings alt- 1-14-06.gif Countless connections occur every instant. Concurrently.

And one of them has brought you here.

This is an intersection, not an accident.

Envision billions of electrons orbiting intensely in an eternity of like electrons (though each unique somehow, they are alike by most measures). Then intentionally, or inevitably, two collide. Why these two. What was the path that positioned us to intersect? Any why now?

so, on my way into the library a patron leaving so, on my way into the library a patron leaving
was called after by the librarian hurrying from the building whereupon the patron turned to her as she extended her hand holding keys - his evidently, saying "you'll be needing these". he gratefully received them. mutual smiles.

i watched this as i approached the building, and thought "yes, we all need each other. we all count on each other to make something happen"
then, on my way OUT of the library, i couldn't find my keys. retraced my steps in library. nothin'. dug spare out of purse. laughed at myself getting in car, finding keys there.

went to symphony on sunday. haven't been since - a while. mozart. fabulous. this morning, found ticket stub on top of dryer. thought at first from movie this weekend,
looked more closely.it was a stub from my last visit to symphony - 3 winters ago.

only by reading your website did i "see" these events with a mind to something greater than this moment. in the words of rilke
"be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves."

what i have taken away from your offering is the reminder that such "seeing" is a practice in itself and the little primers of car keys and ticket stubs are the eye-sometrics that get/keep us in good form
