Work & Wine Weekends
Arrange your event for 6 to 16 people

Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity needs a few angels. You can be part of the first team to help us launch our program. We’re not asking for much. In fact, we’re offering quite a bit in return.
Spend a day helping us build a home with one of our families in need. Then spend another day touring four of Yakima Valley’s outstanding wineries. Angels will stay at the Marriott Fairfield. We’ll provide food, a tour bus and a few extra perks to make your weekend fun and productive.

Work a little. Play a little. Feel great about it!

 HOW IT WORKS: The cost is $250 per person (double occupancy or $300 per person for single occupancy). You can deduct $150 from your taxes. You’ll get two night’s accommodations at the Marriott Fairfield, breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday, Wine Tasting, Appetizers and Salmon BBQ, a foot bath to assure you’re in good shape for the wine tour and a bag of goodies from our local businesses.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT: Since 1984, we have helped 660 individuals build self respect through self sufficiency. To date, we have built 140 homes and added over $12 million to local tax revenues. Everyone benefits. SCHEDULE
Friday
   Arrive Friday night. Check into the Fairfield Inn. Attend First Friday downtown Yakima.
Saturday -
    9am Saturday morning be on the Habitat job site - work till 4pm.
    Box lunches provided on the jobsite.
    Dinner @ Sportscenter - $5 Wine Burgers (Optional)
    Spa time at Ummelina (free foot baths)
 

 

Sunday -
    9:30 am Sunday morning meet Shannon (PR director of Rattlesnake Wine Trail) and get a bus tour of 4 wineries.
    10am Bonair Winery
    11am Hyatt Winery (appetizers)
    12:00 2 Mountains Winery
    1:00 Silverlake Winery w/Salmon BBQ
    3:30pm Return to Fairfield.

Habitat T-shirt, wine glass, Wine Trail Passport (for complimentary wine tasting), waterbottle, granola bar, energy drink and discounts/Gift certificates to use downtown including the $5 Burger @ Sportscenter
Friday and Saturday night stay at Marriot’s Fairfield Inn in downtown Yakima includes breakfast
