Leadership Visioning
Vision creates direction. Direction guides strategy. Strategy defines action. Action builds momentum. Momentum gets results. This is not rocket science.
Leaders see and articulate that vision. They see the invisible and make it tangible so others can take ownership and execute.
Leaders exist at all levels of an organization, not just at the top. They are the insightful people who have the curiosity to question the obvious. They have the courage to present a vision. And they have the confidence to guide others to see and realize that vision.
Leaders don’t manage the details. That’s a job for managers – measuring, adjusting, and honing processes for greater efficiency. Managers are essential. But without the unique, guiding vision of a leader, managers and the entire team will be never excel.
Some leaders have this stuff in their genes. Most don't. It is a skill that can be cultivated and directed. The first challenge is to know when and where to seek an objective guide. Start here.
